The calendar has flipped to 2023, and I am proud to announce a full slate of initiatives and changes for the AAPP Foundation. Foremost, we are thrilled to share our first-ever AAPP Foundation Annual Report. The AAPP Foundation Board found it imperative, as fiduciaries of the AAPP Foundation, that we are transparent on how/where the money is generated and where the money is allocated. Thus, in the 2022 Annual Report, the AAPP Foundation Board of Directors is excited to share our successes from 2022, thank our 2022 donors, and provide transparency of our financials as an organization. The AAPP Foundation is thrilled to be supporting two sessions at the 2023 AAPP Annual Meeting, to be presented live in Atlanta, Georgia and livestreamed for virtual attendees. These sessions align with the Foundation’s mission to advance the psychiatric pharmacy profession by supporting research, scholarship, and practitioner development. Read more.
The AAPP Foundation is thrilled to have 6 grant recipient posters being presented at the AAPP Annual Meeting, April 17 and 18, 2023! Grant recipient posters were accepted for inclusion, and we are excited to see the results of these projects. Read more.

In 2022, 137 donors gifted $50,145 to assist with the Foundation’s core initiatives, including student grants to attend the AAPP Annual Meeting, Defining the Future research grants, and Collegiate Chapter Impact Grants. These activities bring the Foundation one step closer to our mission to advance the psychiatric pharmacy profession by supporting research, scholarship, and practitioner development.

Thanks to the generous support of the AAPP Foundation, AAPP Past Presidents’ Destiny Fund, and AAPP members, twenty eight (28) PharmD students are receiving registration grants to attend AAPP 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia! Recipients were highly recommended and selected based on the merits of their applications.
The AAPP Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the second Student Chapter Impact Grant Awards. After a thorough evaluation process, the grant committee selected three chapters to receive funding. Read more.
