The AAPP Foundation envisions a world where individuals with mental health disorders receive optimal care because psychiatric pharmacists are an essential member of the health care team.

The Student Registration/Travel Grant Program supports interest, learning, and connection to the psychiatric pharmacy profession by supporting student attendance at the American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) Annual Meeting. Applications are accepted in early January of each year and are available thanks to the generous support of the AAPP Past Presidents’ Destiny Fund and AAPP members.

The Defining the Future Research Grant program has created a competitive selection process that challenges students, residents, and fellows to research innovative and cutting-edge practices that will impact the care of patients into the future. Applications are accepted June-August, and research is showcased at the American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) Annual Meeting.

Student Chapter Impact Grants are a great opportunity for student chapters to receive funding for their projects and activities. Projects can address a variety of goals, including impacting patient care, addressing mental health disparities, and reducing the stigma related to mental health and substance use disorders.
