This grant program seeks goals of this grant are to support practicing pharmacists who are experiencing financial challenges preventing attendance at the AAPP Annual Meeting and working on a DEI-related initiative, ideally impacting either the development of psychiatric pharmacists or impacting the advancement of patient care for those living with mental illness, including substance use disorders. Recipients must present an Idea Exchange about their DEI initiative(s) at the AAPP Annual Meeting the following year.
Up to two, $2,500 grants will be awarded annually.

Defining the Future Research Grants

This grant program seeks to encourage doctor of pharmacy students, post-doctoral residents, and new practitioners with an interest in psychiatric pharmacy to investigate topics in line with the Foundation's mission and vision. Using a competitive selection process, the Foundation annually funds grants. Applications are due annually late August and announced in early October. Recipients must submit their findings as a poster presentation at the AAPP Annual Meeting the following year.
Up to $15,000 will be awarded annually.

Student Registration GrantsThe application portal is closed. Thanks to the generous support of the AAPP Foundation, AAPP Past Presidents’ Destiny Fund, and AAPP members, 20 registration grants are available for PharmD students to attend the 2025 AAPP Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah! Recipients will be selected based on the merits of their applications.
