We are thrilled to announce two fantastic grant opportunities to support attendance at the AAPP 2025 Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah! If you're a practicing psychiatric pharmacist facing financial challenges or a passionate PharmD student  interested in a career in psychiatric pharmacy, these grant opportunities are for you.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Grant

Application available September 16, 2024, through November 7, 2024

For the first time ever, we are introducing DEI Grants! Funded by the AAPP Foundation, this grant is designed to support psychiatric pharmacists who are eager to attend the Annual Meeting but face financial challenges.

This grant aims to:

  • Assist pharmacists experiencing financial challenges that prevent them from attending the AAPP Annual Meeting.
  • Highlight DEI-related initiatives that either contribute to the professional growth of psychiatric pharmacists or enhance patient care for those living with mental illness, including substance use disorders.

Grant Components

We will award up to two grants, each providing up to $2500. This amount can be used for Annual Meeting registration, flights, lodging at the host hotel, ground transportation, and a meal stipend. To apply, ensure you submit your application by Thursday, November 7, at 5pm CST. Your application should include a CV, a commitment to AAPP’s honor code and code of conduct, and an essay.
